For a period of 10 days Streetware Southeast Asia 2016 stops in the Philippines to open up contemporary design solutions by stimulating the dialogue between new design thinking and cultural interpretations of existing cityscapes that can have a real impact in the future transformation of Cebu.

Our design methodology investigates how tangible and intangible recordings of existing conditions set out the base for new design briefs that would activate the interface between buildings and city, activity and users, physical and digital, whith the participation of local and international talent. A multi scalar approach would guide the architectural propositions that would transform the existing city fabric.

ThinkCity, Fundacion Metropoli, Creative Cities Cebu, United Architects of the Philippines and local University of San Carlos will team up with Architectual Association Visiting School Cebu to enhance the dialogue between the local and international participants and run a series of lectures in parallel to the design investigation as process of the workshop.
